　Foreword

　『おさださとし−重畳するミクロコスモス』

　　　おさださとしの「夢」にはどうやら「かたち」があるらしい。
　　その意味するところは当の本人にすら分明ではないに違いないのだが、
　　おさださとしの「かたちある夢」をみるわれわれは何故か微かな嫉妬すら覚えるのだ。
　　規模の点では全く同じ大きさの「かたちある夢」はときに重ねられ一冊の本になり
　　「ものがたり」を紡ごうとする。
　　しかし一つ前の記憶と一つ後の予感が目のまえの「かたち」にフィルターを装置し、
　　あたかもパランプセストのように「いま」を溶解させてしまう。
　　「かたちある夢」はだから夢のままであるほかない。

　　　曖昧な「かたちある夢」の「本」はこれからも増殖して行くことだろう。
　　そしていずれは、かのアレクサンドリアのもののような、
　　蜃気楼に見紛う幻想の図書館に収められ、
　　おさださとしはたった一人の作者兼司書兼管理人として君臨するのだろう。
　　我々が今目の当たりにしている電脳の小図書館は
　　いずれ建設されるだろう巨大な本の収蔵庫のための雛形なのかもしれない。
　　「ようこそ」、とおさださとしは微かなはにかみに困惑しながら
　　彼の描いた「かたちある夢の本」の数々を紹介してくれるに違いない。

　"Satoshi Osada; Microcosmos Superposed"

　　"Dreams" of Satoshi Osada seem to have their "shapes".
　　Although it must be unclear even for Satoshi himself what they mean,
　　we find ourselves slightly jealous when we see his "dreams with shapes".
　　His "dreams with shapes", sharing the same size with each other,
　　are sometimes piled up and put into one volume to gather the threads of a story.
　　However, the memory of one item before and the forefeeling of one item after
　　make a filter to the "shape" in front of us and dissolve "now" as if palimpsests did.
　　Thus, the "dreams with shapes" cannot but remain dreams.

　　"Books" of the ambiguous "dreams with shapes" will continue to grow in number.
　　And they will, in the future, be collected in a fantastical library standing
　　under the guise of a mirage just like that in Alexandria;
　　Satoshi Osada will reign over there as one and only person serving as
　　creator, librarian, and manager.
　　This small cyber-library before our eyes might be a model of
　　the huge storage of his books that will be built up some day.
　　"Welcome", must he say and introduce an array of his "books of dreams with shapes"
　　while being embarrassed by his own slight shyness.
